Your Will Be Done

Sunday, June 14, 2020 Series: When You Pray Douglas Vaughan

When we pray, do we yield to God’s will? Do we submit to His desires? What’s in our heart? Here Jesus’ words and actions reveal His heart. Though facing an agonizing moment, Jesus prays for the Father’s will to be done. As we look at this passage, we get to see Jesus before, during, and after His prayer. And we get a better idea of what it means to pray, “Your will be done.” And by His grace, when we pray, we pray more earnestly, “Your will be done,” O God, “Your will be done.”
