Here are 4 ideas to help you get started:

How long is the service? It’s nice to know how long a service typically runs so people can plan accordingly.
What about kids? Visitors with children like to know what to do when they first walk in—should they head to the kid’s classrooms or bring them into the main service? Also, they want to know what kind of care their child will be receiving.
What’s the service like? Let people know the style of music, whether the service is formal or informal, and other details so they know what to expect. Try to make these details reflect the mission and values of your church.
How do people normally dress? People feel more comfortable in a new place when they don’t feel like they stand out.

What can you expect on Sunday morning?

First, you'll find folks who arrive before 10:00 a.m. so they can spend time hanging out in the kitchen, visiting with each other, encouraging each other, sharing a cup of offeee and a bagel together.

Second, you'll be able to worship our awesome God. During the worship celebration, we will sing praises to God, pray to God, hear from God's word, and respond by faith to God's word.

Third, during the sermon time, you'll see that we dismiss our children to study God's word with trained and caring adult teachers. We are committed to providing a safe and fun place for children. We want them to grow in their understanding and love of God.

Finally, you'll find people, young and old, who want to make you feel welcome. Some of us will be dressed casually, and some of us will be dressed up. While you're here, we want you to feel at home, and our prayer is that you will make Crosspoint your home church.
